The ask

Refresh the identity of a Seven Mile Beach landmark to match its renovation

The London House has sat on one of the most desirable stretches of Seven Mile Beach for decades, twenty residences and 200 feet of private beachfront that guests have returned to year after year. The property was now mid-way through a full renovation, with interiors, finishes, and amenities being lifted to match the location they sit on.

The brand had not kept pace with the property’s evolution. Visual cues, marks, and applications spoke of an earlier era, and didn’t reflect the calibre of stay guests would walk into post-renovation. With the property name and history intact, the ask was clear: give London House a refreshed identity that does justice to where it sits, signals the quality of the renovated experience, and travels confidently across every touchpoint guests meet.

What we did

A considered identity drawn from the colour of the coast

We started with positioning. Conversations with the team, a review of how The London House had been presented, and time spent looking at the property itself gave us a clear strategic frame: an established Seven Mile Beach residence, quietly confident, designed for guests who want the comfort of a home rather than the formality of a resort.

From there we built a complete identity system. A refined wordmark sits at the centre, with an “LH” emblem for compact applications and an expressive script variant for moments that need a softer touch. Typography pairs Spalla, an all-caps display face with Italian Art Deco proportions, with Riant Display and a Helvetica Neue support family, giving the brand a voice that reads classic without feeling dated.

The palette is drawn straight from Seven Mile Beach: Morning Tide, Sunlit Shore, Caribbean Current, Palm Green, Harbour Slate, anchored by Dark Rum. Patterns, photography direction, and a full application set extend the system across stationery, signage, in-property collateral, beach assets, and digital touchpoints, so every surface a guest sees feels like one considered, finished place.
